I often take a walk on the beach at Balnarring and if I am out early enough I can occasionally catch a glimpse of some racehorses exercising on the sand. I captured this image one morning just as the sun was rising over Westernport Bay and I wondered if one day this horse might realise the hopes and dreams of his owner and trainer, to say nothing of the delightful young girl who was riding him.
